Comment from the Coach
|
Team,
A 3-3 draw today, possibly undeserved. We showed no commitment and lacked
the will to win - outplayed for much of the game by 9 players.
However we did on some occasions make some good moves. Quick passing, using
the extra players to our advantage gave us some goal scoring opportunities
for parts of the game, but many of them weren't taken. Some of those that
found the back of the net, 3 times, were ruled out for offside but some
dodgy calls from the opposition linesman/manager denied us a win.
Well done to James and Jack up front who provided our early
goals and in the dying seconds, an injured Jonathan , who saved the
game for us.
Man of the match today was a battered
and bruised Andy, who gave his usual
strong performance.
Thanks to Sandy for reffing the game today, Neil for running
the line, and to the parents for their support.
Dave
