Comment from the Coach
|
Team,
We had a few off form players today so were not humming our normal way. A
game of attrition also saw us finish with Rob and Tom off the ground and
several other players carrying niggling injuries. We hit the woodwork 4
times today which was unlucky, but we need more than luck to win games
consistently. The first goal was set up from a deft pass from Ollie
to Callum who slickly passed onto James who finished well. In
the second half, a nice corner from James has confidently headed in by
Jonathon.
Francesco did his normal trick and saved a well taken penalty,
Gareth played a solid game in defence despite a hit to the next whilst
Jonathon continued his good run of form.
Man-of-the-match today was first-gamer
Jack E - a very composed game, run of running, confident
clearing, heading and tackling - well done Jack!
