A very good result today, not just because we won, but in the way we won.

It was a very physical game with a lot of aggressive tackles and blatant pushing that the ref was not picking up - I will enjoy filling in my match report tonight...  To your collective credit, you continued to play the ball and let the scoreboard tell the real story - extremely proud of the way you all conducted yourselves.

The game result of 4-0 was our first clean slate this year which made the win even more pleasing. 

Some stand-out players today.  Martin with 3 goals (including the last fantastic lob from our half which we knew was going in from the time it left his boot) and Freddie with 1 (that could have been 3 with a bit more luck) were the guys who got us on the board.  Jack was at the start of many an attacking move and moved smoothly around the pitch, James used his pace to great effect in creating opportunities whilst being able cover defensively and Benedict found some great space to hold the mid-field together.  Francesco's first up game in goal was committed - a clean sheet is great first up result.  But the man-of-the-match was Martin, who apart from 3 quality goals played a pivotal game at the top of the mid-field diamond to take command of the game - great effort Martin - think we have found your niche…
